A new look for the seafront, Hastings and St Leonards Observer, 24.09.12

Hastings Borough Council commissioned NCA to design a new kiosk on the seafront promenade.  It was the first phase of a wider public realm project including a stage, water feature and additional seating areas. The structure is a semi-circular plan vending kiosk with an integral deck and seating area designed to withstand the weather and discourage vandalism. The kiosk, deck, benches and bins were all formed in matching timber to create a distinct and unified environment, and create a dynamic public space.
